Kostomarov was her co-partner in the year 2000, and they took home the bronze medal of Russia at the 2000 European Figure Skating Championships. She was born in Moscow on March 1, 1980 to a Russian economics professor Tatyana Dimitrievna as well as the relatives that included Gregory T., the director of a fur company. As a child she fell down ill, and after spending six months in the hospital after being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The skater's career along with Denis Samokhin was what made his name famous. They competed together for two Junior World Championships and placed 7th both in 1993 and 1994. She was in 1994 briefly collaborated with Maxim Kachanov. They were placed 5th in the Goodwill Games. She then team up with Vladimir Fedorov. It was a successful partnership. They both won the Finlandia Trophy, and they took part in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Their collaboration was successful as they managed to achieve greater results than they would have on their own. But the most memorable part of this partnership came when they finished 15th overall in the World Championships 1998.
