Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was born on 27 August 1976 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Angie Chalke is her mother and Doug Chalke are her father. She is the middle child of two siblings, the older one, Natasha Chalke, one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah began her acting career in the film City Boy (1992), the first television-produced film made by TV. In 1993, following her debut film, she was a candidate for the role of "Becky" in the TV show Roseanne (1988). The show was in search of a replacement after Alicia Goranson quit the show to attend college. Sarah completed her high school degree in 1995 as she was filming the 1994-1995 Roseanne (1988) season. Also, in 1994, Sarah co-starred in the film, Ernest Goes to School (1994) alongside Jim Varney. Sarah was also in Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear(1996). In both films she played the character of Krista Wilson who was a cheerleader. Sarah was invited to perform in a show from 1998 called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy. It was a year after Roseanne (1988). Based on Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy (1998) which the show also took inspiration from. In 1993 Sarah took over Becky's character on Roseanne (1988). She stated that she would like to end her acting career and go to college. [2001] (1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's elder sibling on Roseanne (1988) However, she's much younger real life. Participated in the 1999 CCMA Awards ceremony, and received the award for the best single. (September 1999) At the age of eight, appeared in Vancouver plays. She is fluent in French, German and Spanish. She volunteers at a hospice facility for patients with terminal illnesses and is employed for the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. Chalke loves cooking with her pals (especially Thai or sushi) she also plays the guitar, ski, hike (she's an instructor) and kayaking. Her father is a lawyer, as are her parents mediators. They also run an agency for adoption of children. She went with her parents to China two years ago to help coordinate the adoptions of orphans.

   Calvano started performing in musical theatre at seven.
