Markie Post

Markie Post grew-up in Walnut Creek. She began her professional career as a television and film producer, producing films such as "The New Card Sharks", (1978), and "Card Sharks," (1986). Post produced projects such as Double Dare (1976), and has been featured on many TV shows like E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (2001). Perhaps her greatest TV role was "Christine Sullivan" on Night Court (1984). From 1984 to 1992 she appeared in 156 shows. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her daughter. She was a poet and a well-known nuclear physical scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918 until April 7, 2015). Two daughters, Katie Ross (born June 26, 1987), and Daisy Ross (born on March 30 the 30th of March, 1990) was her second marriage to Michael A. Ross. She was born in Palo Alto in California and was raised in Walnut Creek. She was a cheerleader at Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis & Clark College, Portland Oregon. She was a trick roper in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). She was cremated and her ashes returned to Michael A. Ross. She was a lifetime Democrat. Markie Post passed away on 7 August 2021, three months from what would be her 71st birthday, which was on November 4. She was 27 days away from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984) which was her co-star , who died on July 11 the 11th of July, 2020. Although the two shows were completely unrelated, Night Court (1984) ended in 1992 , with her character Christine Sullivan, leaving for Washington DC, and Hearts Afire (1992) was released later in the year with Post being a character who was not her own Georgie, who had a chance to work in Washington DC (and later moving to a smaller town).
