Noureen deWulf

American actress Noureen DeWulf (nee Ahmed), Her film roles include West Bank Story (2005) and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2008). She also appeared in The Back-up Plan (2010). Additionally, she was Lacey on the sitcom Anger Management (2012 - 2014). DeWulf was born Noureen Ahmed in New York City to Gujarati Indian parents who were from Pune, Maharashtra, India and was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She was educated as a Nizari Ismaili Muslim. She has two sisters. Aziza the older sister of Aziza she teaches law at Northeastern University, Boston. The younger sister, Sara, practices law in San Francisco. DeWulf studied theatre and international relations at Boston University's School for the Arts. Following her graduation, she moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career as an actor. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati and other languages. DeWulf began her acting career in the Academy Award-winning short film West Bank Story, where she played the leading role of Fatima the singing and dancing Palestinian cashier who becomes enamored with an Israeli soldier. Since then, she's been appearing in comedic television series and movies. From 2009-11, she played regular roles on the NBC show Outsourced, TNT's Hawthorne and MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berger as well as in the Lifetime miniseries Maneater.DeWulf was featured in several box office hits, including Ocean's Thirteen (2007), and The Back-up Plan (2010). She starred alongside Matthew McConaughey's romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and Jeremy Piven in The Goods : Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009). The Taqwacores (2010) premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2010 and was her primary role. She co-starred alongside Charlie Sheen in the television sitcom Anger Management, which was a hit from 2012 to 2014 on FX.In 2014, DeWulf won Best Actress at the Comedy Ninja Film and Screenplay Festival for her performance as the murderous temp in the independent film Coffee, Kill Boss.In 2014, DeWulf was ranked #93 in Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" for the second time (the first time being 2007) she was listed as one of the most attractive women in the world, according to the magazine's readers. She was also listed in Nylon's "Top 30 Under 30" list for the year 2009.
