Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born on December 10, 1987) is a American journalist and sportscaster. As reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their daily news and updates program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie began her interest in stock car racing when she was given a pit lane pass. After finishing her studies at Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. Vincie's self-made NASCAR video blogs were released on SceneDaily the stock car racing site. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 the 10th of December, 1987. Her family relocated to Warrenton shortly after Vincie started high school. Vincie is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's mother Eleanor N. Logan was an educator in the fifth grade while her grandfather was on the faculty at Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she had always been interested in from an early age. Vincie completed her studies at Fauquier High School in 2006. She participated in track and field competitions, and also worked as a director of the school's team in wrestling for four years. Vincie was the winner of the 800m race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored her and provided Vincie a lot of information. In 2010, Vincie graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie was an intern in the athletics division of the university. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. She wrote a dissertation for her senior year on the gender gap in auto racing which was focused on woman race car driver Danica Patrick. She was attracted to the sport when she got a pitlane pass to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her main influences are Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda, and Wendy Venturini.
