Emily Swallow

American actress Emily Swallow was born December 18th 1979. She is most well-known for her roles in the role of Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara the Darkness in the 11th season of Supernatural. She is also known for her role as the Armorer in The Mandalorian, the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also a part of the game video The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born December 18, 1979, in Washington, D.C. Her family grew up in Sterling, Virginia, as and Jacksonville, Florida. While at Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville and then at Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville, she began to act in various amateur, college, and professional theatre productions. She graduated in 2001 with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Virginia, and then studied for an MFA in Acting from the New York University's Tisch School for the Arts.Swallow began her professional career on Broadway theatre, where she performed in several productions, including High Fidelity, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Guthrie Theater, Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park, and the world premiere of off Broadway shows Romantic Poetry and Measure for Pleasure.In 2008, Swallow made her film debut in the military drama The Lucky Ones. She appeared in two international premieres: Donald Margulies' play The Country House, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; and Mark Rylance's show Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theatre. Her name is required to be cited. awarded the Falstaff Award in 2010 for the most outstanding female actor for the role of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. In 2012, Swallow and Jac Huberman co-created a stage show called Jac N Swallow. The show was staged at Joe's Pub and at the Laurie Beeckman Theater in New York. The show revolves around their hilarious mishaps when they face different life situations.
