9lokkNine's first mixtape, Kold Face Kold Case, featured 9 tracks. It debuted on January 2, 2018. He released his second mixtape, Bloodshells Revenge with 18 tracks on April 17, 2018. On May 8, 2018, 9lokkNine released a music video for his single "I Don't need No Aid". The mixtape, which features 17 tracks, was released, "Loyalty Kill Love" on July 23, 2018. He signed with Republic Records and Cash Money Records on August 3, 2018, a year ago. A press release announced the agreement was valued at $2,000,000. On December 19, 2018, he released the 11-track mixtape Lil Glokk That Stole Khristmas. In April of 2019, 9lokkNine released his single "Party Pooper". 9lokkNine was featured on a YNW Melly track titled "223's", but the track was originally released as a single from his December mixtape, Lil Glokk That Stole Kristmas. The track became a hit after the song was made popular through "TikTok" which is an app that lets users to dance to popular songs. 9lokkNine performed at the 2018 Rolling Loud Festival on May 13th, 2018 in Miami, Florida sharing the stage with rappers including Lil Pump, J. Cole, Travis Scott and Future among other performers. In October 2018, 9lokkNine was arrested on multiple charges, including possession of an unintentionally concealed weapon by a criminal who had been convicted of a crime and grand theft in the third degree and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.
